Everyone who is interested in releasing something on Auteur Recordings is welcome to send demos to the address above.   We promise to give everything we receive a fair chance; however, we cannot promise a response even if you specifically ask for one (be it positive or negative.)   You shouldn't place much importance on our opinions anyway; our opinion of your music shouldn't matter nearly as much as your own.  If we like something enough to release it, you'll definitely hear back from us.  In the meantime, here are some helpful tips to keep in mind when sending your music:

• CDs are preferred, however if you want to send vinyl, remember to pack it well and write "Do Not Bend".
• Please put the name of the project and your contact info directly on the demo. 
• It's not necessary to send more than one piece of music.  We'd love to listen to every second of music people send, but we just don't have enough time, so there is no need to send multiple cds of your entire recorded output.  We recommend you pick an album or make a compilation of what you feel best represents what you're doing and send that.  Along similar lines, if you send a full length record or a long compilation, it's helpful to highlight a couple tracks for suggested listening.
• Lastly, we'd prefer you be interested in Auteur Recordings as a label in itself, rather than just one of a million labels that might release your music. We'll listen to demos that come in press packets with form letters, but we won't be very excited.
